Saturday, November 16th:
Visit me at Inspirations Bookstore (1200 S Pokegama Avenue,
Suite 150, Grand Rapids, MN 55744), where you'll be able to buy Of Wing and Worship: The Extraordinary Advent of Jesus Christ and get it signed if you'd like. I'll be there from 10 am to 4 pm. Can't wait to see you there!
Join us in the Rich Event Center (201 7th Avenue W., Floodwood, MN) where I'll be selling and signing copies of my book, Of Wing and Worship: The Extraordinary Advent of Jesus Christ. Other local vendors will be selling crafts and Santa will make a special appearance for the children. Use the contact page to email me if you have any questions!
Repost and comment on any of my posts about Of Wing and Worship to have your name included in a drawing on the November 25th Shopping Night in Floodwood, MN (details above). I will add your name into the raffle each time you repost and comment, increasing your chances of winning! Come to the event and find out if you're a winner. Two baskets and two sets of Advent candles will be raffled off at 6:30 pm sharp! Hope to see you there!
Together we'll go through the biblical account of the first Christmas and discuss the significance of Advent as retold in Of Wing and Worship: The Extraordinary Advent of Jesus Christ. We'll light Advent candles and share the themed candy as we work through the chapters on 12/1, 12/8, 12/15, 12/22, wrapping everything up on 12/29. You don't have to attend New Life to come to this study. We'd love to welcome you even if it's just for this one hour! To sign up, call Jan at 218-476-4240 or email her newlifechurch.fld@gmail.com.
I was privileged to attend Four Rivers Fellowship in Floodwood, MN, where I gave my personal testimony and spoke briefly about my new book, Of Wing and Worship. Special thanks for the kindness demonstrated by Pastor Dave Rhode and his congregation, who welcomed me with open arms.
Visited Hermantown Community Church on Saturday, to sell and sign books in their yearly craft sale. I had fun reconnecting with dear friends. Thanks to HCC, Julie Fermenich, and Audrey Light for hosting this event. Crafts were sold, a lot of homemade bread was eaten, and I left the building wearing a handmade scarf and Christmas tree earrings!
I returned to Hope Lutheran, where I sometimes preach for Pastor John Burgess. On this visit, however, I introduced my new book to the congregation and then participated as Pastor John led worship. After the service, I sold and signed books in the fellowship hall. What a blessing it was to be with the lovely people who make this church feel like a second home! Thanks, Hope Lutheran!!!
